Angel of the North

I think this statue is beautiful. It's called the Angel of the North, and it's located in Gateshead, England. Sculptor Antony Gormley created it, and it is as wide as the Statue of Liberty is tall. Wow. (Yes, that's a person sitting on one of the angel's feet.)

Me, too. I thought it was simple yet mysterious. I spotted it on Wikipedia 's home page last night. Maybe that's what spawned the del.ici.ous selection.

Dig the flying squirrel, by the way!

I'm addicted, for sure. I get a giggle and an eye roll every time I break out my phone to check Wikipedia when some obscure topic comes up.

Very true about Google. Most days I think that's not a bad thing for them to be so big.

You're welcome. He looks primed and ready for action! lol
